simulationHub Web Services
simulationHub Web Service ( SWS) has become the first microservices based cloud platform to build thermal, fluid and hyper-localized weather applications. SWS provides more than 200 REST APIs.
Amazon Web Services
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a secure cloud services platform, offering computing power, database storage, content delivery and other functionality to help businesses scale, grow and build cloud applications.
GE Predix
Predix platform is a comprehensive and secure application platform to run, scale, and extend digital industrial solutions. The platform delivers shared capabilities that industrial applications is required.
Our Approach
It's the guiding structure that allows us to ensure consistent quality, seamless execution, and collaborative relationships between our people and our customers.
Our Core Expertise
We have grown up with 3D technologies. We are building the 3D application from predicting missiles trajectories to designing a kitchen for the homeowner.
simulationHub now graduates to a full commercial release with three new, easy to use simulation apps specially crafted for designers. For us, designers are the focal point for our apps. In democratization of CFD, we believe the first step is to make it available to every design engineer.
Patterning is a very useful and necessary feature in CAD modeling. Most CAD software includes this functionality. By combining multiple pattern operations, one can achieve very complex results easily. Our product simulationHub uses Autodesk FORGE viewer for visualization of CFD simulation. In our upcoming thermal comfort analysis app, we needed the occupant heat load manipulation option, and so needed a way to easily create a pattern for a thermal manikin. This blog gives details about how we have implemented the pattern feature in Autodesk FORGE viewer. The required code snippets are given to understand the implementation.
Have you used the Autodesk FORGE Viewer before? If you have, you must be amazed by its ability to render model data in a browser. You might have seen a lot of amazing application like simulationHub. How about the native Windows or Android applications? Can we use Autodesk FORGE to view the 3D model of the product in native applications? This blog gives details about how you can use Qt and Autodesk FORGE viewer do to exactly this. Read the blog to know the step-by-step procedure to set up a Qt project, set up Autodesk FORGE web app, and define the intercommunication between them. Code snippets included in the blog will get you started quickly.
You are a plant planner, architect, property developer or a site engineer. You are seeing google maps on your device and wondered, how cool it would be if you could just demark some areas and check how your home layouts, types of equipment, roads would fit over the accurately measured area. We have just the solution for you. This post is about how we synchronized maps with Autodesk FORGE viewer using creative methods. Your CAD model basically pans, zooms out and zooms in as if the satellite map and viewer are a single window. Part of our layout manager web app, this feature makes the user feel that they are directly drawing things on the map in their actual size. This helps the initial analysis of the site and cost estimations.
Machine learning (ML) techniques are now widely being used in almost all areas of application. Six months back, CCTech Research started investigating how we may use ML in the area of Design of Mechanical Systems. One of the key application we were particularly interested is in Control Valve industry. simulationHub's Control Valve Performer app is already calculating valve performance within minutes compared to weeks in traditional CFD way. But one still yearns for a solution that could predict the flow performance in less than 5 seconds. The machine learning app developed by CCTech research team is now able to predict the value performance within seconds. Read more about the app, what went into creating the app and the app workflow.
Last week CCTech hosted its first hackathon. All CCTech developers were divided into six different teams and were asked to create app or product feature based on simulationHub Web Services, Autodesk Forge Platform, Amazon Web Services and General Electric Predix Platform. In just a 9 days development time, it’s great to see the variety of apps created, from virtual and augmented reality to a voice-assisted user interface, the teams created innovative apps and features. Here is the summary of what apps are developed and who finally stood out as the winner.
AutoCAD Electrical is a vertical application developed by Autodesk on the top of AutoCAD for electrical, electronics, and mechtronics industry. AutoCAD Electrical provides with more than 2,000 schematic symbols. A simple, icon-menu-driven system for inserting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and P&ID devices is provided, allowing user to quickly build standards-based control designs by simple pick and place.
