development in CFD requires the cooperation of specialists from
the fields of mathematics, science and engineering. Due to the
dynamic and geometrical complexity of flow problems, the search
for new numerical methods and applications in CFD has always
been a major subject. In recent years, many achievements in this
aspect have been made.
The objective
of CCTech's CFD workshops is to provide graduate students,
researchers, engineers and physicists involved in fluid
computations the latest information on state-of-the-art work in
the development and application of computational fluid dynamics
(CFD). It covers advances in CFD in various areas, including
computer simulation of fluid flow, heat transfer and associated
phenomena in nature as well as in engineering analysis and
design.
CCTech offers
two levels of workshops on CFD Analysis
Being a CFD
engineer, one needs to have a good understanding of physics and
expertise on commercial software packages used in the industry. The knowledge
of fluid flow and heat transfer given at undergraduate level are
the foundation stones for further studies and career in CFD.
The topics like advanced fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer
covered during post-graduate studies are the necessary and must
skill sets of CFD engineer.
Because of the
exponential growth in computational power and development in
numerical algorithms, CFD is becoming more and more extensively
used virtual simulation technique. Almost all design companies
are using these tools directly or indirectly in their design
activities. If an engineering student is aware of this technique,
he/she will have endless opportunities in the core
engineering domain.
The main
objective of CCTech's CFD college workshop is to create
awareness among engineering graduate and post-graduate students
