ICEM-CFD &
FLUENT course is a six weeks course designed to introduce CFD to
UG/PG students and working professionals. The main intention of
the project work during this course is to get exposed to
industrial problems. Approximately 50 hrs project work involves
defining the problem definition, doing the needed literature
survey and applying the fundamental and software training imparted
for solving one of the industrial problems.
The intention of this project work is also to help final year engineering
UG/PG students to do their academic project with the help of
CCTech's CFD faculty. The final year of UG/PG studies involves a
project work. If a student is interested in a further career in CFD,
doing a CFD project at an academic level is a proven successful
start. Students can take the problem of their interest or
a problem assigned by their guide as a project work. The
continuous assessment and support will be provided by CCTech
faculty during the course as well as after the course. Student
will be guided throughout the project work.
Some of the
projects done by students of this batch are mentioned below
-
External
aerodynamics of pickup truck
-
Hydrogen
emission and ventilation from nuclear waste
-
Modeling
entrained coal gasification (IGCC)
-
Fan curve
and performance prediction for air blower
-
Plate type
heat exchanger analysis
