This six days course is designed for those who wants know the basics of CFD and have a working knowledge of ICEM-CFD and ANSYS FLUENT. If your organization is using ICEM-CFD and ANSYS FLUENT combination for CFD simulations, this course will be mainly suitable for new recruits going to be deployed on CFD projects. This is also suitable for those organizations which are thinking about starting the CFD studies and want their engineers to be trained on CFD concepts and software.

Many times because of cost-effectiveness, companies outsource the CFD projects to service providers. One needs to have an understanding of CFD and commercial CFD software to interpret and analyze the results given by the service provider. Sometimes it is very hard to decide if CFD can be used for problem under study or not. This course is also suitable for those engineers who are acting as CFD project report evaluators.

This course is a perfect blend of CFD fundamentals, ICEM-CFD pre-processing and ANSYS FLUENT solver training. This is designed by considering very little or no knowledge of CFD, ICEM-CFD and ANSYS FLUENT.

The primary goal of this course is to introduce Computational Fluid Dynamics, ICEM-CFD and ANSYS FLUENT to the engineers. During the training, general governing equations will be discussed with the valid assumptions one can make to reduce the problem complexity. Overview of Finite Difference Method and Finite Volume Method, its pros and cons, stability and convergence issues will be given to know what happens "Behind the Screen". In-depth training on ICEM-CFD pre-processing tool  and ANSYS FLUENT solver will be given. This will give good idea to the engineer for solving real-world CFD problems from start to end. The practical sessions will be designed by considering the participant's need. By the end of training session, one will get modeling and solution strategy for his/her problem of interest.
